I met this sweet family almost 3 years ago right after their then 10 month old little girl was diagnosed with Lukemia. Being able to photograph her now with her long hair and spunky smile truly made me so happy. I’ve been so impressed by how this experience has brought their family together. These 2 kids are so incredibly sweet to each other, and really just adore one another. I can’t wait to keep photographing their darling family for many years to come.

Christmas is on the way!
Time seems to be in overdrive lately! I can’t believe that next week is Halloween. And that means that the holiday season is going to be here before we know it. So of course I’ve been thinking up lots of great ideas for holiday photos. I have some amazing props in my new studio that will make for beautiful and fresh holiday photos. I am also offering any clients that book a session any time before the end of the year one of these beautiful custom designed cards absolutely free. I will customize the cards with your photos and text and then you have them printed. Simple, easy, and gorgeous! I have 2 dates in November that I am currently booking for studio sessions, November 6th and 13th. These dates are filling up fast, so if you want to beat the rush and get your family photos done in November, now is the time to schedule a session! Call for available times.

Change is Coming
Changes can be so bittersweet, and exciting, and scary all at once. I’ve been feeling all of these things in the last few months. We just moved to a new house, and I’ve also decided to open up a studio space to be better able to serve my clients and offer new options for their portraits. This has all caused a lot of changes in our routine and day to day life. This friend of mine has also had her share of changes recently. She gave birth to a beautiful little girl last month, and today she just said goodbye to her oldest son who is leaving on an LDS mission to Ecuador for 2 years. So I promised her that today I would post these pictures of this moment in time when her family was all together. Sometimes it feels inadequate, but these images of our families really are what we have to tie us to the moments that pass more quickly than we ever dream they will.
