Road Trip!

It looks like I'm going to be packing things up and taking my camera on the road in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait. I will be driving down to Bend Oregon on the
1st of November to do sessions for friends of mine in the area. So if you are living in Bend and would like to schedule a session on that Saturday, please give me a call or send an e-mail. I will be offering my typical 1 hour session with a full-resolution CD including 25-30 images for $200, or you can opt for a 30 minute session with a full-resolution CD with about 15 images for $125. This is the perfect opportunity to get some portraits for you Christmas cards, and with the full resolution images that gives you tons of flexibility to create your cards any way you want. Portraits are also a great idea for Christmas gifts for family. Right now the plan is to have all of the sessions at Drake park, and I have times available ranging from 10-5. My phone number is 360-600-2008.

Itty Bitty!

This sweet little gal made a very early entrance into the world. She was born in July just a week before that appointment that I had with her mom to do some maternity portraits. I was able to go and take some photos of her while she was in the NICU and I was just blown away with how tiny she was. You could see then that she was a fighter and would be OK. So here are some of the photos from that shoot in the NICU as well as some of the portraits that we took last week of all 5 lbs of her after getting to come home from the hospital. Her family is just lovely and I had a wonderful time getting to spend time with them. I'm so happy for them that they have their family all under one roof finally!

Changing things Up!!

I've decided to introduce some new editing styles to my bag of photoshop tricks that I use to edit photos for my awesome clients. It's something I've been thinking about for awhile, and a friend of my gave me the push I needed to make it happen. You may have noticed some of the new editing in some of the recent images that I have posted. To those of you who are saying "yuck! I hate the new editing that you have been posting"! Don't worry, I will still be editing all of the images in the traditional way that I have in the past, but will throw in a few of the new style images as well just for fun. If you are wanting all of your images edited a different way, you just need to let me know and we can make that happen. So here are some samples of 1 image that I took this weekend, which happens to be one of my favorite baby portraits ever in 5 different ways. (That vintage trunk was even a family heirloom, so cool!) Let me know what you think of the new look, love it, hate it, eh! I'm really excited about this new step, and I hope my clients will be as well. I also had to add a couple more of this little man, I just want to kiss his chubby little cheeks (man all these babies are making me baby hungry!) Look at that smile!!

This is called Troy.
This is Tap Shoes.
This is Bullet.
This ones called Acid.
This is the traditional editing.
