Finally got a day with no rain, and a little bit of blue skies peeking through. Days like this with big billowing clouds are actually my favorite for taking pictures. I love when I can capture the brilliant blue of the sky, and still have nice soft light on my subject.
And I couldn’t leave out the solo photo of Brutus. He was by far the biggest dog I’ve ever photographed but was just a big sweetheart.
This little gal is just too cute. We also got to capture a 4 generation photo which was fun.
Word of the week is Spring. I thought this was a fitting image. Meet my 3 new babies. Lemonhead, Peepsylvania, & RoadRunner. (named by my boys)
So I’ve decided to jump on the photography bandwagon, and start posting 1 image per week to go along with a predetermined word that Amy and I have agreed on. This week our word was motherhood, and there could be just about as many different ways to capture what that looks like as there are stars in the sky. But for me this week, this was an image that really spoke to me personally. There is a very powerful story behind it for me, and this mama, but as I don’t have permission to share that I’ll keep it to myself for the moment. But oh, this one melts my heart.
