Styled Chicks at Aurora Mills

Amy and I recently went down south to the darling little town of Aurora (it’s south of Canby) to the amazing Aurora Mills and did a session for the 2 darling girlies who are just hitting their teen years. This is an age that I don’t often get to photograph as most parents tend to photograph their little ones a lot, and then normally wait till they are seniors to splurge on nice portraits of them. I love capturing this age! And I love being able to help a young girl (or boys for that matter) see themselves as beautiful and maybe see something that they have a hard time seeing in the mirror when going through this stage of life (we all remember being self-conscience at 13!) Amy did an amazing job pulling together outfits and accessories for them, and then we collaborated on shooting during the session. It is so much fun working with my best friend, and really it’s true when they say that 2 heads are better than 1.
