Introducing Bennett Karl!

My newest little man arrived on September 15th at 11:00 AM weighing 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20 inches long. I had a beautiful waterbirth and am recovering really quickly. I wanted to share a few of the photos from our most recent photo shoot. It's really fun having a newborn just hanging around that I get to take pictures of. I'm hoping to start scheduling more sessions for mid October, and will be planning a few studio session dates that will be happening at my home in Oregon City to try and make it work to get Christmas sessions scheduled and still be able to feed my newborn between shoots! Wow!

This shot just was one that made me stop in my much proofing and say WOW! There's just something about this shot that I love.

Maternity Leave

I will officially be on maternity leave starting this week, and for sure till the end of September. Baby boy #4 should be joining us in the next few weeks so I'm ready for a break. I will keep you posted on dates for sessions starting in October or November to gear up for the Holiday season. I will also of course have to share some shots of my sweet little man when he arrives. Thanks for all the wonderful clients this last year, your kind words about my work have really helped my business to grow.

Can you just say "Swamped", that would be the definition of the last couple of weeks! And there's more where this came from. But oh so much fun.

Seeing Double!

I really couldn't tell these two apart! It's just amazing how much they look alike. And I don't think they could be any more gorgeous.

Mr Blue Eyes

This little man had the most gorgeous blue eyes, and wow his mama sure looked good for being 8 months pregnant!

Vintage Cupie Doll

I went to the antique store today with my best friend and went a bit crazy buying new props. But since I knew I had this chubby little cutie waiting for me to take his pictures I couldn't resist. He was just the perfect subject for these props, and I'm in love with these vintage style shots.
